Spreading smiles is the easy part. Making smiles takes a bit more work. I’m talking about Cleft surgeries with Smile Train. I spent the day as an ambassador for this awesome org (my third international visit with them) visiting @apex.hospitals in Jaipur and meeting with the incredible staff and doctors today. I met with so many families whose children have undergone #Cleft surgeries to chat about their journey.
Meeting everyone was heart-warming & endearing, and they all left an incredible impression on me for a lifetime.
@smiletrain has helped over 1.5 million kids in the (almost) 25 years they’ve been around. I toured the hospital, and met with so many beautiful families. This visit will always stick with me.💙🙏🏽

I’ve been seeing this frozen banana ice cream trending all over the place. I’ve been making this healthy frozen treat for years!
Here’s how:
- A few frozen bananas (peel before freezing)
- Big spoonful of peanut butter
- Blend until smooth (food processor works as well)
- Top with your fave topping (dark chocolate chips, coconut, nuts…)
- ENJOY!

What to wear when you host a show on @hgtv?
1. Need to look stylish, but not too stylish.
2. Need to look ready to work but not look over-worked.
3. Need layers because you’re in a location that is sometimes hot and sometimes cold but you can’t ADD layers once you start.
4. Need to wear solid colors or large patterns but nothing that will distract, and definitely no logos.
5. Need to hide the mic pack on the back of your bra, around your leg, around your waist, or most often clipped to your pants (which is why we often tie our button-down shirts around our waist).
6. Need to take a photo of your wardrobe in case you need to do a pickup shot at a later date.
7. Need to keep your hairstyle/color relatively the same for the same reason as #6.
Got it? Good. 👍🏽 Now let’s get to work.

#Ad I’m on a healthy green smoothie kick to help get back into shape and boost my energy and metabolism. I’ve been using this blender from @bedbathandbeyond . Only a few days left to shop The Beyond Cooking event sale- so many great deals on small appliances!
Here’s my recipe for my smoothie- I call it “Lucky 7”! Here’s why-
7 ingredients:
Spinach
Romaine lettuce
Celery
Parsley
Apple
Banana
Pineapple
(Add water and a squeeze of lemon or lime)
Blend until smooth and start feeling healthier after your first sip!

My SKINNY COLADA cocktail for tonight’s game and for easing my way out of Dry January. A healthier version of a piña colada…why not??! 🥥

RECIPE
1 oz tequila or rum
1.5 oz coconut water or coconut milk
1 oz pineapple juice
Squeeze in some fresh lime
Shake
Top with splash of club soda
Rim with coconut sugar and coconut flakes
Garnish with a lime

Gearing up to start filming again so I’m in over

Gearing up to start filming again so I’m in overdrive with getting back in shape! Trying to trick my 50 year old brain into thinking it’s 30. 😜 Ok, maybe 40. I try to stick to this regimen but it’s not always easy so I definitely indulge every now and then!

-WAKE UP warm water with lemon and cayenne
-GYM warm up, weights, and stretch
-EAT low sugar, high protein and fiber
-DANCE for feel good endorphins
-SLEEP I use a whitenoise app and it knocks me out.
